Just Call Me Ambassador

I've been under a major writing deadline. We're talking stacks of paper everywhere, empty tea mugs, ponytail-no-make-up-for-days-same-clothes-til-they-stink. On Wednesday, I dropped off the chapters (!) at my adviser's office and went to get my reward. More tea to fuel this thing, of course.

I had received a Groupon for the Tea Embassy and I was ready to finally spend it. The Tea Embassy was near campus in an adorable old house, each room painted a different color. One room had couches and was lounge-y, another had tables inviting one to maybe get some work done, and of course there were rooms with retail and tea.

I smelled oodles of different teas and pondered. I ended up getting three blacks--Earl Grey Cream, a ginger peach one, and Hot Cinnamon Spice. I got a green scented with fruits and an herbal that contained blood orange. I can't wait to try them all and go back to the embassy for some writing.

Looks like a lot of fun. Great pics. I will have to go there next time I visit you, and perhaps make some tea here, in the meantime.

Fun! Who would have thought there is a Tea Embassy?
